Construction is well on its way for the first huts to be constructed at Camp Perry since the World War II era. Workers have spent the month of October laying out 21 new huts using modern construction and drainage. This first batch of huts being built for the Ohio National Guard and will also be available to National Matches competitors in the summer of 2014. The first phase of new huts is being constructed on a site adjacent to the entrance to Commercial Row. More huts will be constructed in the future – as many as 50, according to Col. Dean Brown, Fort Ohio Commander. The new hut walls, built using 2x6 studs, will be insulated and the huts will feature heat and air conditioning.
Won't hae to drag my A/C unit/
